Founders’ Day Service and Dinner
The Founders’ Day service is held in Gloucester’s magnificent Cathedral naive and showcases the talents of the school’s musical performers as well as the traditional thanksgivings for the lives of Joan and John Cook.
It is during this service that the school pays the rent for the use of the original school room with a single red rose, given by the current President of the OCC to the Diocesan representative.
Following the service, the club holds a buffet supper for members and invited guests, most recently at the Parliament Rooms in the Cathedral Close. The historic Fleece Hotel has been a previous supper location and there is a possibility that with plans for a regeneration of the Hotel and the surrounding site, we may return there in the future.
