A.J. “Tony” Beard

The sad news of Tony Beard’s passing has reached the club.
Tony, a keen sportsman, left the school in the early 1950s and embarked on a joinery and building apprenticeship which led to him establishing and running a very successful building company.
Tony was an active member of golf and cricket clubs as well as gaining international representation as a member of the England Shooting Team.
Our thoughts go out to his family and friends.
