Dear Friends,

The O.C.C.C. folded 25 years ago in 1988. We sense that a reunion of former members of the famous Old Cryptians’ ‘travelling circus’ is long overdue.

On the 23rd March there will be a marvellous opportunity for such a get-together.

Above all it will be so appropriate to toast ‘Absent Friends’ with whom we have enjoyed playing ‘the noble game’.

In particular this theme has been brought to our attention by the very recent sad news of the passing of Past Captain Peter Meadows and Tony Chesson.

We are seeking to contact the list of cricketers as attached.

Please advise us if we have forgotten a former cricketer.

Dinner £20 exc wines.

Our President has reformed the format for the Dinner. NB] All Toasts will be taken in 20 minutes max prior to the commencement of the meal. We trust that you find this change an inducement to attend.

Do come to the Dinner and meet up with old cricketing friends.
