Derek Howell (1949-54)

It is with great sadness that we record the death (at 79) of Derek Howell, a Life Member of the Club. Derek passed away on Christmas Morning in Gloucester Hospital.  For several years he served on the Old Cryptians Club Committee as Membership Secretary.  He was a stalwart of the Old Cryptians RFC and also had a great love of cricket.

The funeral will be on Monday, 16th January 2017 at 11:00 at Upton Parish Church followed by a cremation at Gloucester Crematorium at 12:00.  The family would like everyone to wear sports club ties.  Donations in lieu of flowers please to Wyatt House.  Everyone invited afterwards to the Old Cryptians RFC for the wake.
