Peter John Farthing (1960 – 67)

Peter Farthing (born 12th January 1949) died peacefully on 30th April 2012 in Wrexham Hospital. The Cryptian records that he appeared in the School’s superb Dramatic Society productions under Charles Lepper. Peter had a successful career in a leading firm of London solicitors – Clyde and Co. During his time in London, Peter enjoyed membership of several well-known clubs and engaged in charity work. He retired to North Wales where his country life centred on a lovely house in Glyn Ceiriog.

His funeral will be held in Pembroke College Chapel on Thursday, 17th May at 12.30 p.m. The Daily Telegraph announced his passing on May 8th and includes the request “No flowers, but donations, if desired, to www.justgiving.com/In-memory-of-Peter-Farthing in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support”.
